POSITION AVAILABLE: AutoCAD & 3D Designer

 

We require an AutoCAD draftsperson and / or 3d Geometrical designer (12d or Civil 3D) for our civil and land development projects. This role will also provide support to our 3-Waters Engineers and current CAD and design resources.

 

Tasks / Skills required:

 

  1. Be proficient in AutoCAD drafting, ideally with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, but will consider any and all experience levels.

  2. Has a knowledge of managing multiple x-reference files when arranging plan sheets.

  3. Provide horizontal design of roading, drainage and water supply servicing layouts.

  4. Can produce concept plans from sketches, verbal instruction and site visit records.

  5. Be able to interpret and manage data from 3rd party sources, such as surveyors and architects.

  6. Create as-built plans and data files for external use or Local Authorities.

  7. Show attention to detail and ability to self-check outputs.

  8. Will also take interest in 3d geometrical design with experience in either 12d or Civil 3d design software.

  9. Provide outputs that meet the requirements of e2’s internal drafting and design standards.

  10. Must be client focused and organised, with good time management to meet project timeframes and quality standards.

  11. Have good communications skills, written and verbal.

  12. Can operate in a team environment and work collaboratively with other staff members.

POSITION AVAILABLE: Water Resources/Civil Engineer: Intermediate/Senior

 

We require an Intermediate or Senior Water Resources Engineer for our civil and land development projects.

 

Tasks / Skills required:

 

  1. 3 waters engineering with a focus on stormwater management including design of treatment and attenuation systems

  2. Hydrology/hydraulic modelling

  3. River Engineering

  4. Land Development engineering: design, approvals at the Local Council or Regional Council level, contract and construction management

  5. Technically minded and practical.  Ideally, 7-15 years work experience, preferably in New Zealand.

  6. 12d or Civil3d, CAD drafting related to land development, earthworks, stormwater basis or wetlands experience an advantage.

  7. Must be client focused and organised, with good time management to meet project timeframes and quality standards.

  8. Have good communications skills, written and verbal.

  9. Can operate in a team environment and work collaboratively with other staff members.

  10. Must hold New Zealand Work Visa.

  11. Remuneration to suit experience and skill level.
