Description: The Piano opened in 2016 and is a world class facility, a home for music and the arts in Canterbury. It includes a 330 seat concert hall and provides high quality facilities for performances, instruction, and collaboration in Christchurch.

Our expertise: e2Environmental designed the site civils for the project which included pavement design and levels, stormwater and earthworks consenting from Environment Canterbury and Christchurch City Council.

Outcome: The building was completed as scheduled in September 2016 and marks a key addition to the performing arts precinct in Christchurch’s central city.
