Site civils design for The Piano – Centre for Music and the Arts, Christchurch. Project cost $13 M.
The Piano opened in 2016 and is a world class facility, a home for music and the arts in Canterbury. It includes a 330-seat concert hall and provides high quality facilities for performances, instruction, and collaboration in Christchurch.
e2Environmental designed the site civils for the project which included pavement design and levels, stormwater and earthworks consenting from Environment Canterbury and Christchurch City Council.
The building was completed as scheduled in September 2016 and marks a key addition to the performing arts precinct in Christchurch’s central city.
