e2Environmental have been involved from the initial re-zoning of part of Methven, through the various design, and construction phases of 14 stages over the past 14 years.

This 250-lot subdivision has proved popular with locals and has added vibrancy to the town.

This was a 28 ha greenfield subdivision built on the north of Methven that required existing water and wastewater services to be extended from the existing township.

The water supply to Methven has relatively low service pressures, and the wastewater system has several constraints. The initial phases of this project involved comprehensive modelling and studies to confirm the feasibility of servicing for water supply and wastewater and identified a number of upgrades.

In addition, as there is no global stormwater consent in Methven, we developed, consented and enabled a system that would treat runoff before discharging stormwater to land. A unique feature of the stormwater solution were swales that convey stormwater through the development instead of an underground pipe network. This solution reduced the overall infrastructure costs to the council.

An enduring relationship with the developer and contractor over multiple stages and 14 years of development demonstrates the quality of our engineering and client support.
